Arghhh... not again...

I really hate it when someone I don't know or can't remember suddenly leave a comment on my Fb status or photos or anything lah. How do you address him/her back, when you don't even know who he/she is? And the thing is, even when you take a peek on his/her photos on his/her profile, tapi you still tak ingat. Nak address dia camna? Nak panggil full name ka? Nick name ka? I have lots "friends" (maybe a quarter of them) on FB whom I don't remember!

Time to clean up my FB account to avoid further embarassment and awkward situation. I think I will delete all nama2 yang langsung tidak ku ingat itu. Yeah I know.. FB is about re-connecting people, but what is there to be connected when there was not any single connection took place in the "real" world. And yes, those ex-students of mine.. I think will need to be removed as well. Sometimes I forgot the people in my list. I always treat Fb as the place to lepak with old friends and people that we feel comfortable with.. making funny, sometimes nasty comments, which of course, untuk suka-suka dan bergurau senda sahaja dan kadang2 tak sesuai untuk tatapan umum, especially those who don't know me personally. Ada masa sampai terlupa daratan .

Oh I remember, I once felt like suddenly I was brought back to that one miserable year in Matric 1 at one boarding school in Taiping. I hated that place very much because of the boys yang sangat2 ***** (argh.. I don't have a perfect word to describe their attitude). You see.. I came from an all-girls school. When I joined Matric, I felt rather awkward to be surrounded by boys yang "pelik-pelik" (okay.. I finally managed to figure out the best yet "soft" word to describe it). You knowlah.. the kind yang tak pernah nampak pompuan. Kalau pompuan lalu, mulut tu bisingggg je berbunyi macam2. They tend to think that boys are superior than girls and that girls deserve to be ridiculed. They label girls yang tak pakai tudung as bohsia. Suka2 mereka je panggil anak orang bohsia. Some of them pulak suka memberi tazkirah tanpa diundang. Not that I don't appreciate orang yang berilmu dan beragama yang ingin menegakkan syiar islam, but pleaselah do it with hikmah dan adab lah kan.

Of late, I find that these boys from my Matric 1 semakin ramai di FB. At first, they appeared to be more civilized compared to those Matric days. I thought maybe they have finally grown up, and maybe after leaving the ivory tower up there, they managed to learn on how to bermasyarakat dengan ahli-ahli masyarakat yang berbilang bangsa, budaya dan ragam. So it was not a big problem at first. But lama2, dah terkeluarlah balik true colours masing2. Dah mula nak tunjuk budaya kolotan mereka di Facebook. Let me give you an example lah. I posted a few links from people's blogs on jokes why we should maintain PPSMI. And guess what... tiba2 I dilabel sebagai hampir syirik and ujub (I had to google apa makna ujub) and besar kepala just becoz of that! I was also accused as orang tak sedar asal-usul, membangga-banggakan bahasa penjajah. Can you believe that?

One girl friend of mine pulak kena sindir konon2 dunia dah akhir zaman sebab kawan I ni pegi letak gambar2 dia dengan artis2 masa tengok concert kat Istana Budaya. Argh... memang nak kena delete mereka ini tau. We don't need to re-connect with this kind of toxic people, do we?

Oh by the way.. do you know how to change your FB name? I tried that many times, but tak jadi lah..
