Post Earth Hour

So did you cast your vote for our one and only Mother Earth? If yes, you should give yourself a pat on your back. But if you did not… hmm.. suka hati hangpa lah….. but please don’t complain that the weather is getting warmer each day coz YOU voted for global warming. Well... I just hope that the concerted effort to switch off all the lights for an hour helped in some small ways. Thanks to all who voted Earth!..

I was all alone during the “darkness”. Hubby brought my little ones to their nenek’s place in Ampang. The reason was because I have called a cleaner to do the monthly routine of mega cleaning of the house ie cuci kipas, cuci toilet, lap tingkap, cuci fridge, buang sawang etc. I didn’t want my kids to be trapped in the mess, so we decided to export them to nenek. Nasib baik ada nenek. The kids just luuurrrrrveeeee to be at their nenek’s place. Especially Rizq… hari2 merengek nak pergi rumah nenek… It’s a blessing to have my in-laws in the Klang valley. At least adalah tempat untuk my children bermanja dan mengada2….

It has been weeks since I last updated my blog. There were quite a few things happening over the last two weeks. On the 20th we went to the 1st International Hot Air Baloon Fiesta in Putrajaya. It was a Friday. Hubby took ½ day off after Jumaat prayer. We were still early when we arrived & there was this para motor showcase going on. The kids were happy & jakun tengok orang terbang. Dah puas tengok orang terbang, we played kite pulak. My kids have always enjoyed playing kites. I also love playing kite. I had never got a chance to play kite when I was a kid. Tak tahu apasal.. mak abah tak pernah bawak pun. The first time I played kite was in last January and that was the day before I got my lung infection. Kelakar bila ingat balik…. Masa main macam tak ingat dunia, besoknya terus sakit… pun macam tak ingat dunia… By the way, we didn’t get to see all the balloons, only about 5 or 6 balloons as it was about to rain.

Arghhh… I’m really not in the mood to blog. I guess this is what they say the blogger’s block. But I just wanna share some of the good news/things that happened to me and the people that I love in the past few weeks….

News #1:
Remember in a few posts ago, I wrote about my colleague Sis S and her battle with cancer? After so many tests, it was confirmed that the lesion that she had in her bones were not cancerous. They’re still a mystery but they’re not cancerous. She’s actually suffering some sort of bone marrow disorder that caused her bone marrow to bleed. Isy… I pun tak paham penyakit ni… Will ask my doc sis, Kak Ajin.

News #2:
An old friend, Lisa just got her 5th baby a few days ago. Her 5th ok… her 5th!!! She’s my age and she already has 5 kids. Wow! She’s also a working, studying and maidless mom like me. How lar did she manage her time, her household.. and above all, her sanity?...

News #3:
K.Ajin passed all her exams in Singapore. She’s actually doing a post-graduate degree in radiology and every few months she has to travel down to Singapore just to take exams. Medical people punya exam bukan macam orang lain punya exam. I remember K.Ajin once told me that the examiners actually deduct their marks for every wrong answer. Haiyo yo….itu macam tak boleh main hentam jawab la. I guess, they want to train the doctors to be really really absolutely confident with their judgements. Luckily I didn’t take Medicine…(sebenarnya nak cakap luckily my Matrix results were not good enough to qualify me to take Medicine..he..he..). K.Ajin, if you’re reading this… CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! But her azab is not over yet. She still has a series of exam to take, and one of them will be in London.

News #4:
Shad sat in his first real exam last week. He already got his results for English and Arabic. Alhamdulillah, he scored As in both subjects. This exam will determine which class he will go after this. I have made a promise that I would buy a remote control helicopter if he manage to get into the best class. This reminds me of those days when I was in primary school. Abah used to buy presents for me whenever I got the top 3 position in class. I remember one of the presents that I got was a camera. Tapi jangka hayat kamera tu tak lama sebab ada orang tu kan, dia pinjam camera kita. Lepas tu dia kena kejar anjing & baling beg yang berisi camera tu kat anjing. Maka pecahlah camera itu….. hmm…

News #5:
Went to UMMC last 2 weeks for my post-pneumonia check-up. From the look of my x-ray, the doctor confirmed that my infected lung is already restored to normal. Alhamdulillah.

News #6:

And last but not least..... My dear friend Milin sent an entry to KL Photo Competition. Milin is a talented photographer and loves taking photos of children and babies.
