Have you heard the song Bencinta (Benci + Cinta) from Faizal Tahir? Fell love in with the song the moment I hear it. Audy Mok & Faizal made the best combination.. as always. I'm a BIG fan of Faizal Tahir since his OIAM days. Oh.. when I say I'm a big fan of FT, I mean I'm a fan of Faizal Tahir the singer, not the person okay. I'm no longer the 14 year old girl who actually thought that she was going to marry the keyboardist of the group Gersang. So I don't really care when people say he's poyo ke poco2 ke, bukak seluar ke, bukak apa ke... to me those things don't matter at all coz all I care is that he keeps on producing great music & performances. His personal matters.. lantak la... pandai2 lah dia jaga diri dia sendiri.. A talent like Faizal is hard to find as there are just too many Anuar Zain wannabes out there in our music industry. he has his own way of branding his kind of music. And I love the strength in his voice.
But Faizal.. just in case you stumble upon this blog (manalah tahu... dunia tanpa sempadan katanya), can you please drop the "kamu kamu" thing in your next songs. Tak suka lah cakap kamu-kamu ni... Not only it sounds Indonesian, but I find it kasar & unromantic......
By the way.. can you love and hate a person at the same time?

'when love and hate collide'.. but cannot remember ler the singer.. but really luv the song.. I senang fell in luv with a song bcoz of the lyrics.. if the melody terabur camne pun, as long the lyric is meaningful, senang2 jer I jatuh cinta.. hehehe..

ReplyDeleteI agree.. sometimes lyrics alone pun boleh buat kita suka lagu tu. For example lagu Revolusi (bunk face) tu. Mula2 I dengar macam crap je lagu tu.. tapi bila dengar the lyrics rasa cam terevolusi begitu. terus jatuh minat...
