Say yes to cloth diapers!

One diposable diaper takes about 500 years to degrade in a landfill. Arsh had been here for less than 3 months and already he had polluted our Mother Earth with 480 disposable nappies! After weeks of thinking we (ehem.. I actually) finally decided to switch from disposable nappies to cloth diapers. It was a big decision actually coz it's a bit pricey to start with cloth diaper system. One local brand cloth diaper costs about RM50-60, and a baby roughly needs about 8 nappies a day. And that doesn't include the occassional splurge on those cute imported diapers which may cost about RM80 and above. Yes I do admit that to totally switch to cloth diapers will invlove so much RM, but bear in mind that these diapers can be passed down to other children.

Our stash so far is still very limited so we still had to rely on one or two Huggies a day. We only have 7 diapers at the moment - 5 pocket diapers from lunatots, one pocket diaper from Shinies and one all-in-one Monkey Doodlez. We're still waiting for another 3 to arrive - 2 from lunatots and one from lampinkain. I love Lunatots so much! It's a local brand but manufactured in China, but the quality is really good (in terms of its absorbency and design) and it managed to influence me to keep on cloth diapering. And the colours also very nice. The one Arsh is wearing in the picture above is a Lunatots. I tried one Shinies brand which I bought from a blogger. Sajalah nak try kan.. Nasib baik beli 1 je.. mmg tak bagus pun. Sesuailah dgn harganya, cuma RM 35 tapi bolehlah pakai sementara 1-2 jam kalau dah kehabisan stok.
